Born 1966 in Vöcklabruck (Upper Austria)
After completing his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna (Dieter Kaufmann and Michael Jarell), he attended further courses with Klaus Huber, Emmanuel Nunes and Brian Ferneyhough, among others.
1997 participated in the Stage d' Informatique Musicale at the IRCAM in Paris.
1996-03 associate lecturer at the Wiener Musikuniversität.

In addition to intensive involvement with computer-aided compositional forms (CAO) and electro-acoustic music, his interests range to include interdisciplinary projects involving film (Kerry Laitala/USA), dance (Rose Breuss/Austria) and literature (Christine Huber und Wolfgang Herles/Österreich).
