Our successful collaboration with China Found Music Workshop Taipei enters
a new phase in 2002. For the first time, the taiwanese musicians will create
a new work with Western musicians (Nieuw Ensemble Amsterdam). This was premiered
at the international MaerzMusik Festival in Berlin. A commissioned work by
Sandeep Bhagwati (India/Germany) juxtaposes Chinese and Western instruments.Premieres
by Tung Chao-Ming and Shih Pei-Yu (Taiwan/Germany) were also included.
